Ullvén CUP Mutes for Brass are probably the best CUP mutes ever made. Great to use as soloist or in a section.

The original Ullvén CUP Mute with an adjustable cup will cover all you need. Can be all from a tight cup soft warm, to an open bright crispy sound, rich in overtones and perfect in pitch.

The Cup can be used as a plunger with the straight part a la "Snooky Young". He used Ullvén CUP mute, with or without the Straight part.

The Torpedo/Straight part can be used as an effective, nice "Straight" mute.

Put a sock in the cup and use it tightly, you will have a great practice mute.
