Put a sock in the cup and use it tight, you will have a great practice mute.

The original Ullvén Copper CUP Mute with an adjustable cup will coverall you need.

Can be all from a tight cup soft warm, to an open bright crispy sound, rich in overtones and perfect in pitch.

The Cup can be used as a plunger and without the cup, the torpedo/Straight part becomes a nice ”Straight” mute.

With this mute the brass player may cover 90% of the requi- rerments and it gives the solooist a greater spacesound.

The Chrome Plating gives the mute a little more brighter sound and great projection. It also stays shiny and if needed, easy to polish with some metal polish cream.

The pure Copper CUP has a warm beautiful sound a little darker then the Chrome Plated.

It is not lacquered and as all copper it darkens with time, this gives the mute a beautiful patina. If desired its possible to polish the mute and keep it shiny.

*Note, The Copper metal give the mutes more weight compared to Aluminium.
